One of my New Year's Resolutions to myself was to blog more so I hope I keep it up! Last week I started my new me, I started Herbal Life and also started taking a supplement called Pregnitude. Herbal Life is going pretty good, I am down a few pounds without even starting my workouts so that makes me feel pretty good. And I actually got my husband to come to the gym with me, and he liked it! We will be making it a regular thing to go together twice a week, I plan to get there one more day on top of that as well. And hopefully on my non-gym days do some at home routines. I'll see where I'm at next week with my weight in! Harley is also in a archery league with a couple friends once a week so that gets him out and about. Glad he found a hobby to do, he was starting to get a little stir crazy after the holidays but this gets him excited and give him something to do.
The supplement I am taking is called Pregnitude. I found online that helps regulate my cycle, it is also said that it helps make better eggs to help if people are doing IVF. So even if it doesn't regulate me it could help with the eggs which was a small issue at the last IVF as to why we didn't get more embryos out of the retrieval. I just add the supplement powder to water so it's easy to take and do it twice a day. I am taking Provera right now to jump start a cycle since it has been a few months without one but the Pregnitude seems to be helping getting that to start sooner than it normally does when I do Provera so it must be working in some way. We will continue to try, which isn't a bad thing :) and see if I can ovulate one of these upcoming months before we start into IVF again in the Spring.
We went to the sportsman show last weekend hoping to find some new places to go and of course for Harley to drool over the boats! We had lots of fun checking out the pontoons, fishing boats and seeing some of the campers. There was lots of booths for awesome places to go for fishing and hunting, most we might have to wait till we are older to go and afford but some great spots. Also got us excited for salmon fishing in Lake Michigan next summer! Now we are deciding on whether to go camping or get a room somewhere. Also at the show this year were some live animals which was pretty cool. They had some fox, wolves and cougars and then in another area they had some trophy bucks that were just insane! I think if i saw anything that big out in our stand I would not know what to do! But it was a fun time.
Hope everyone has their hats and mittens out cause it's about to get real cold in MN!!

In the last year we have gone through a lot after deciding to start a family, a lot that neither of us thought we would have to go through. During all of this there have been many laughs, tears and long hugs. Some of you do not know much about the past year and some of you know about each and every appointment. After everything I thought I would start this blog, a place for me to share our journey while trying to conceive and also the other fun things we are doing along the way.

Here's to 2013!
We all made it through the holidays and another year of Ice Fest! December sure went by fast and after all the parties and events January feels like we put the breaks on quickly. We had such a great last few weeks enjoying so much time with family at all the Christmas and then spending the week up north at my mom's, it's hard to be back at work 5 days a week.
It has been fun watching all the neices and nephews at Christmas and their birthdays these last few months. So much fun watching them grow! We always get new pics of them for Christmas so it's funny replacing their previous year picture with the new one and seeing all the past years. Especially watching how much Justin has grown the last 5 or 6 pictures! Cash is now talking, Isabelle is crawling and Mataya is becoming a little person! We have so much fun being with them.
Harley has been keeping himself busy in his off season by working with his Dad to get all of their plows and equipment ready for snow. They were out for 27 hours in a row from that one big snow we got in December! Good thing he loves to plow, he is now waiting for the next snow. Wish it would a bit more, doesn't have to be the 19 inches like we got but just enough to keep him busy for a few hours a week. He will be heading up to Canada with his mom this week to check on the construction of the cabin up there, hopefully that will all be finished soon- can't wait to see it! Hoping we can get up there a few times this year for some fishing.
I have been doing some crocheting, hoping to get a few more projects done now that the holidays are done and we are less busy. We are also not going to do IVF until the Spring now, our insurance is great but we have to come up with the money up front and with Harley laid off this winter we will wait till he is back working in March/ April before starting again. We will be trying to get things to work before then in hopes to save money and stress of all of that. I've started taking some supplements and will be starting Herbal Life this week in hopes to lose some weight and get my cycle to regulate itself. So we'll see and keep praying for us!
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year!
