In the last year we have gone through a lot after deciding to start a family, a lot that neither of us thought we would have to go through. During all of this there have been many laughs, tears and long hugs. Some of you do not know much about the past year and some of you know about each and every appointment. After everything I thought I would start this blog, a place for me to share our journey while trying to conceive and also the other fun things we are doing along the way.

Baby Dust

What is baby dust?  I have learned after lots of reading on different fertility chat groups that baby dust is a way for people to tell others good luck on your journey, or good luck on your test or good luck at anything.  I thought it was a very sweet saying, everyone says 'good luck' and 'I'm crossing my fingers' which is always appreciated but telling someone baby dust is like saying good luck but good luck because I know what you are going through.  Going through this I have learned about a quite a few friends that are going through some type of fertility problems and with one of my close friends going through it the same time I was it was very helpful to have that person to understand everything I am going through, from the Dr lingo to the good and bad days.  Please don't feel afraid to share your story if you are going through something similar cause it is definitely easier going through this with the love and support I have.
